The narrow specialty of the laboratory is the analysis of hexavalent chromium, perchlorate, chelating reagents, nitrification inhibitors, humic and fulvic acids in fertilizer samples.

Plant nutrition products in the Republic of Serbia are regulated by the Law on plant nutrition products and soil enhancers (as well as numerous by-laws), which regulates classification, quality, labeling, phytosanitary control and sampling in the circulation, import and application of plant nutrition products and soil enhancers and their testing, as well as other issues of importance for plant nutrition products and soil enhancers.
- CPCE Laboratory is the only one in the region that can fully meet the requirements of the new EU regulation 2019/1009 *.
Since 2022, the new Regulation EU 2019/1009 has been applied in the European Union, which defines the requirements for the quality and marketing of plant nutrition products and soil enhancers. This regulation includes requirements related to all types of mineral and organic fertilizers, biostimulators, soil enhancers and other products of this type.
